June Badon

Owner & Director

June Badon is the owner and director of the June Badon Elite School of Dance and Acrobatics since opening in 1956. She

  • has served as president of the South Texas Association of Dance Teachers for 2 three year terms

  • has served on the Board of Directors

  • is certified by test to teach the art of dance and is a member of Dance Masters of America, Inc.

  • attends workshops and conventions throughout the year to further her education in the Art of Dance

  • has been selected STADT Member of the Year in the past

Dance to Miss June is an art to be embellished and nurtured and to be passed on to her students. Her methods of teaching are designed to give each student individual attention.

Jennifer Fecowycz

  • is a former June Badon dancer and became an assistant instructor at the age of 15

  • is an original member of the June Badon Dance Company and is now the Co-Director

  • is a member and certified to teach the art of dance by Dance Masters of America

  • was elected in 2003 and 2021 to the DMA Board of Directors

  • was named STADT Member of the Year in 2005

  • has served as director of S.T.A.D.T’s Junior Members for several years

  • is a Special Ed teacher at Groves Intermediate School

Amy K Fecowycz

  • is a former June Badon Dancer and a member of the June Badon Dance Company

  • is a former Indianette Officer

  • is a Dance Company Co-Director

  • is a member and certified to teach the art of dance by Dance Masters of America

  • attended A&M Galveston and received her Bachelor’s in Maritime Studies

  • was named STADT Member of the Year in 2025

  • is a choreographer and board member at Port Arthur Little Theatre

  • is a Beaumont native with 11 years of tumble coaching

  • has worked with Dabbie Allport coaching gymnastics at Beaumont Gymnastics Academy, Bonnie Cokinos at Horizons Full FX, Pride Cheer Company, and many others

  • has served 9 years with the Universal Cheerleaders Association, working with high schools & colleges around the country

  • took 2 trips to London to help choreograph the New Year’s Parade in 2018-19

  • is a certified instructor with the USASF and USA Cheer with certifications in Stunting & Tumbling
