Read below for the descriptions of each class.

Ballet: The most important discipline of dance. As the basis for all other
forms of dance, Ballet promotes grace, poise, flexibility, and self esteem.

Tap: Improves musicality, rhythm, agility, and speed

Jazz: Increases flexibility, agility, balance and lower body strength

Acrobatics/Tumbling: Improves flexibility, upper body strength, and balance. Students
learn tricks, beginning with basic forward rolls and cart wheels and
work toward learning flip flops, back flips, aerial cartwheels, and aerial
walkovers.

Lyrical: A form of dance that tells a story and portrays it through the dance.

Hip/Hop: High energy discipline of dance. Hip/Hop has many different styles from many
origins and can be very smooth and fluid, or very bold and tight.

Baton: Makes fingers strong and flexible, increases dexterity, gets students ready to be a
Twirler or Drum Major.

Pom/Pon: A form of dance that incorporates pom/pons, dance, and precision, frequently
used in Drill Team

Modern: An abstract form of dance that teaches the use and interpretation of space.

Leaps & Turns: This class works strictly on all forms and styles of turns and leaps as well
as balance and strength training.

Adult Class: Combination of Jazz, Exercise, and Ballet
